Activated Ministries Scholarships

As of June, 2016, 284 scholarships have been awarded to qualifying individuals, for a total of $275,000. Since 2010, Activated Ministries’ In Recognition of Service Scholarships have provided tuition assistance to the children of current and former missionaries. Our goal is to honor those who have served on the mission field, for a minimum of 10 years, by assisting their children in the pursuit of their education. Individual scholarships range from $500 to $1500, averaging $1000.

Applications are received and processed each Spring and Fall. Luke Brendle

Hi, Activated Ministries I want to thank you for accepting me for the Recognition of Service scholarship. This scholarship will be a big help for my financially this year as Florida is voting to lessen the amount of money given out to Florida resident students. I am excited to be in my last year of undergraduate and preparing to get my Master's degree. Your scholarship is helping to make it possible for me to continue my studies in getting a Masters in Divinity. My dream is to go into full time missions and with this scholarship it is another step in that direction so thank you. Read more about Luke Brendle

Dear Activated Ministries,

I would like to express my thanks for being accepted as a recipient of the IROS Scholarship for the Fall Semester of 2013. Being a recipient of the IROS Scholarship has been a great blessing to me in helping to defray my tuition costs, as I’m sure it has been to numerous other students as well.

Since applying for this scholarship I have graduated from my undergraduate program at the top of my department and I was chosen as the valedictorian for my college campus.

I am extremely grateful to be one of the individuals to receive the Activated Ministries (IROS) scholarship! I was starting to get nervous because my tuition was due. I got so excited when my mom came into my room to surprise me that I received the scholarship! It was definitely an answer to prayer, and I will put it to great use for my education.
