Activated Ministries Scholarships

As of June, 2016, 284 scholarships have been awarded to qualifying individuals, for a total of $275,000. Since 2010, Activated Ministries’ In Recognition of Service Scholarships have provided tuition assistance to the children of current and former missionaries. Our goal is to honor those who have served on the mission field, for a minimum of 10 years, by assisting their children in the pursuit of their education. Individual scholarships range from $500 to $1500, averaging $1000.

Applications are received and processed each Spring and Fall. I would like you to thank Activated Ministries for awarding me this scholarship, it could have not come at a better time. I wouldn't have been able to register for Fall classes without this miraculous intervention. This scholarship will help me pay for my tuition this upcoming Fall semester. It will mitigate the amount of time I have to devote to work during the semester. This scholarship will allow me to take full advantage of my opportunity to study and keep my grades up at the University of Texas. Read more about Boaz Hanson

Suzanna Doss

Dear Activated Ministries,

I am writing to thank you for the award of the IROS scholarship. I am so grateful to be a recipient of this financial help toward my social work degree. It will be a welcome addition to the bills for the spring semester here at Baylor, and a real answer to my prayers! I actually cried a little when I received the news that I was one of the recipients…probably because I was so touched at the acknowledgement of the missionary work that I and my parents have done that this scholarship represents. Luke Brendle

Hi, Activated Ministries I want to thank you for accepting me for the Recognition of Service scholarship. This scholarship will be a big help for my financially this year as Florida is voting to lessen the amount of money given out to Florida resident students. I am excited to be in my last year of undergraduate and preparing to get my Master's degree. Your scholarship is helping to make it possible for me to continue my studies in getting a Masters in Divinity. My dream is to go into full time missions and with this scholarship it is another step in that direction so thank you. Read more about Luke Brendle
