Family International Service Association of Taiwan

FISAT is a Taiwanese social service charity association committed to regularly assisting the mountainous aboriginal communities in Taiwan through various aid distribution and sponsorship programs. In addition to other kinds of aid, FISAT focuses on distributing a popular educational book which facilitates bilingualism in these communities. This popular story title, The Garden - The Secret to Happiness is an ideal beginners story book featuring both English and Chinese text with a vocabulary listing of the key words in English.

These aboriginal children and families are somewhat out of the mainstream of Taiwanese lifestyle. Although the Taiwanese government is creating programs to give them more recognition, the people of these regions need a lot of support and encouragement. Programs such as FISAT's book sponsorship provide a way to meet this need.
