Activated Ministries was proud to offer the outreach materials to missionaries who attended the Cervantino festival in order to spiritually minister to the attendees. The Cervantino is a month-long festival held in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico where young people come from all over the world to celebrate art, music, culture.

The Cervantino is a month-long festival held in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico where young people come from all over the world to celebrate art, music, culture and to revel in the atmosphere of all-night parties where anything goes. Many of the youth that you will find at Cervantino are in search of something to believe in and a purpose for their lives.

Volunteers from The Family International traveled from all over Mexico to join with us in reaching the youth through our music and message; offering them the solution to the emptiness they feel inside. Read more about Cevantino Festival in Guanajuato, Mexico

Cervantino Festival 2009

Thank you for your interest and participation in our efforts to reach out and to spread God’s Word here in Mexico. We are happy to report that Project Descubrete, at the International Festival of Cervantino, October 2009, in Guanajuato, Mexico, was a success in every way. This is, in large part, thanks to your generous sponsorship of the printing of 30,000 flyers and over 18,000 tracts.

The program, which involved nearly 200 Christian volunteers, including students and fulltime missionaries, ran from October 27th to November 2nd. Read more about Cervantino Festival 2009

Project Descubrete at the Cervantino 2010 Festival

Shivering slightly, she stood at the front of the line of eager faces, hand in hand with a perfect stranger. What gave this quiet young woman the courage to enter a tent marked “Carpa del Destino” with someone she had never met, to pray and to listen for the voice of God? Was it curiosity? Desperation?
