Activated magazines

In May 2006, Family Services India launched a new outreach training program for young people, aged 12-17 all over India. This program was developed with the aim of training young people in youth counseling, missionary outreach, and distribution of Christian literature and was called “The Add program.” This initiative was launched simultaneously around the country. We’d like to offer special thanks to Activated Ministries for sponsoring the Activated kids magazines to our work here in Pretoria, South Africa! We distributed the beautiful color magazines to the children in our after-school program at Stanza Bopape Community Development Centre and the reception was wonderful. During the summer months of 2008, our volunteer team in Saltillo, Mexico traveled with 10 young people some 5,000 kilometers throughout Mexico to preach the Gospel and distribute the wonderful Activated magazine. We started our trip in El Paso, Texas, and traveled south to a town called Merida, which is the capital of the Mayan culture.
